JD’s comments about Watergate make me question the higher education system in this country. How can anyone with a Yale education rewrite history to score a few points in MAGA world? And no one is talking about the 50-100 year sentences some protestors got in Texas.

You should not be surprised! As a Yale graduate and former professor, for all the good that comes out of there, the white patriarchy is alive and well. And Vance took advantage of that and manipulated entrance because of his “hillbilly” roots. Read his book and imagine the impact on his development. He had to literally learn how to survive in a system that kept his people disadvantaged and “crazy”/ angry. He doesn’t plan to go back to that and he is both distancing himself from his people and shoring up the system that aims to make many more Americans victim to it. Despicable!

Excellent, Mike! I agree with every single word and I'm here for it!

I agree, Mike. I remember Nixon...I'm pretty old. He should have gone to prison. Oh, he was disgraced for a while, but then he was treated as a wise elder. Now we have a whole admin full of active criminals who are violating oaths of office and robbing the country, and taxpayers, blind. We have a Supreme Court that seems to have never read the Constitution! Most of Congress is not standing up for the people or our country. Once "we" win the elections, the REAL work has to begin and get done. No "just moving on" allowed. There's too much damage to be repaired...for the next generations!

Totally agree...just heard an interview with Buttigieg with the late Jesse Jackson and he was saying exactly what your saying...a total overhaul of our system of government...I would like to see a de-politicization of all government agencies...people should be hired for competency not the politics of the day..

We will definitely need to stay strong after we get control back. The U.S. did not get in this spot overnight, it will take us a long time to repair & heal. Both nationally & internationally.

You are so right. The answer begins with congress peeople ike Jamie Rakin. He talks about the process of rebuilding our democracy. and making the guilty pay for their crimes. So, yes, do not forget. The harm these people are doing needs to be called out and punished by legal means. And, also making these perpetrators pay by legal means. Fight on..

Mahalo for your insights for the truth! And I am inspired to follow your suggestions- stay focused stay positive STAY PISSED OFF( at this point in our history PISSED OFF IS POSITIVE!)

We continue to speak up and speak out. This latest fiasco from our Supreme Court injustices is outing the rampant racism and bigotry alive and thriving in - yes - "blue" Massachusetts. All those who claim to have come here "legally", ie, with the right skin color.....

Mike, you are spot on!

You are 100% right Mike, there has to be accountability for all the corruption that has happened under the Trump Regime, people need to be put on trial and jailed if found guilty and definitely none of the Garland slow walking, it has to do been immediately.

I appreciate this article. We don't need to sleepwalk back into easy compliance because something much worse could come after Trump. With Trump, he plays in plain sight with his corruption, and we need to be diligent in this next election, so that we fight what's coming next.

The problem is not JUST the obvious wildfire.

At the fire department responsible for putting out the fire, the fire chiefs (Schumer and Jefferies) are completely incompetent and were not replaced in 2024 after allowing the fire to spread via election loss, and are currently fighting efforts to put the fire out because they think a little bit of fire benefits them. Burn the democratic party to the ground.

So well said Mike! I keep wondering if the Democrats have a plan to work toward everything you have illuminated.

Do we need to restrict the pardon power? (As well as adding real penalties for taking emoluments, etc.)

THANK YOU FOR THIS! Once again, Mike, you say out loud what I am thinking!
