I tend to ask the wannabe Patriots “when and where did you serve “.

I am also a veteran and I love your style.

Me too. Thanks Mike.

Thank you for your service.

Yeah he is definitely a wannabe Patriot.

I don't think he's a wannabe. If it's not all about him, he's not interested.

Go, Mike, for most of the rest of us who don't speak to a large crowd. I love your controlled passion, but also when you let loose after being dissed! I'm not a Republican but actually miss the ethics and compassion of John McCain (I'm from Arizona). I long for the real Republicans; some were my friends. What a mess this current administration is. Pray that it goes our way in the midterms.

I know that John McCain had his warts, like everyone in DC from both parties. But I know exactly what you mean, Linda - he might very well have been the last of a generation of politicians who took seriously public service and the oath he swore. He truly held his views, most of which I disagreed with, but they weren't the views of the slackers in the Republican Party of today or the corrupt backers in the shadows. As another commenter said a minute ago, John McCain wasn't part of the "I've got mine F/U" Party. The fact that trump was able to show him such disrespect should've been all that was needed for the American people to say "Unfit". If only.

I didn’t agree with John McCain’s support of Iraq war. However, I respected him. He was a decent, and good man!

I remember those kinds of Republicans. Sometimes, Democrats even supported them in local elections! Some of them were even pro-union, and got union endorsements!

When is the last time you saw a self-identified Republican or Trump supporter, actually make any sort of sacrifice or put themselves out in any way for a fellow American citizen? I would guess a long time. Stuart Stevens was right: It Was All A Lie GOP=SCAM+GRIFT I've got mine F/U.

I was also raised Catholic, Mike, and attended a Catholic girls' high school, where an AMAZING nun(!) in her early eighties taught us American history. One of the things she taught us was what REAL patriotism was: It's not "America, love it or leave it," it's celebrate our country when it's doing praiseworthy things, but when it's not...then our patriotic duty is to speak up and work to correct that error. She taught that to us almost sixty years ago, and I consider it to be one of the most valuable lessons I ever learned!

What an excellent teacher. Would that everyone still had teachers and forums that taught that!

I tried, and some labeled me a radical. I thought I was encouraging them to think for themselves, as I had been taught!

Thanks for sharing what you were feeling. I can relate to the frustration you're feeling. When I see Republicans on tv and spouting off about the Democrats, it makes me angry. You did really great to not lose your cool trying to talk on NewsMax last night. You're absolutely right Mike, the Republicans are the ones who are anti-American. As if we need another reason to vote blue, I could add it to the list to vote blue with a blue wave in November. Thanks for doing the debates and representing the everyday person when you go on the programs. You rock Mike! 😊

Don’t forget it was the Republicans who set the goal of making Barack Obama a one term president and put up barriers to everything he wanted to accomplish. Also I don’t believe ANY Republicans value public service. They are working for power and money—nothing more. I have no more Fs to give for ANY Republican and I am done compromising with any of them.

Mike, thanks for all you do and I feel your frustration too. The maga lies and blatant hypocrisy are out of control! November midterms can’t come soon enough. Ready for this nightmare to change course and start healing.

I agree wholeheartedly and its sickening to see these so called patriots try to defend this administration from what will become the greatest corruption and incompetence in US history. VOTE BLUE!!!

Mike, I'm retired military and a retired school teacher. Thank God my wife and I have a good state (defined benefits) pension. So I guess we should feel like most Republicans -- I got mine screw you. Anyway that is their idea of the "golden rule." Keep up the good work, Mike and keep changeling these glib mouthed would be showmen. My wife and I appreciate your hard work.
