And treason is not the only action an American can take that is worthy of universal condemnation, impeachment, conviction, and removal from office. If you read the definition of treason, I think you will find that people apply that term far too loosely. For example, what Trump did on January 6, 2021 was not, as many claimed, treason. It was insurrection, which is every bit as bad.
War without congressional approval has become the norm. The Congress gave up their control over declaring war long ago. So, I don't think you will find a president being "charged" with starting a war without congressional approval. The House and Senate could begin to act to reclaim their constitutional powers, but they almost certainly won't.
Republicans are completely in the tank for Trump and Democrats aren't considered weak for no reason. Schumer and Jeffries have been worthless. This is an opportunity for them to stand up and regain some integrity. I sincerely doubt they will. Both will want to make sure that donations from AIPAC are secure above what is best for the country or their constituents. I would love to have them prove me wrong. I'm not worried at the moment that there is much chance of that happening.

That must include a way for Congress and SCOTUS to enforce the law and court rulings.
