Thanks Mike. Saw Bernie Sanders on with Jon Stewart last night. We need to follow his lead...know what is right and fight for it. Free speech, free health care, a damn working government that does not throw military parades, build stupid ballrooms, bomb boats or deport innocent people.

And how about Trump demolishing part of the White House to build his $250 million Ballroom for UFC fights and converting it into his version of Saddam's Palace?

Somewhere, someone is making book on whether Trump will leave the White House on his own two feet or feet first.

Here's hoping he leaves like a true cult leader. In a body bag.

They rail against a group they have named Antifa. Which literally means anti fascist, while claiming that the’ radical left’ are fascists, while at the same time exhibiting every behaviour of the definition of fascism.

Trump is a waste of time, money and resources. I do so wish that New York (state/city) had done their job of putting both Trump and his dad in jail instead of letting them get away with many illegal acts.

AND now our country has to deal with a would be (demented) king.

Good God when will this end!

He is decomposing by the second. Just not happening fast enough. The problem is that he's going to maximize the amount of pain, suffering and damage to the US and the world before he checks out.

Absolutely 💯%! They have no arguments to support their views. The thought process is “if we do it, they must do it too!” That’s the only position the GOP has and illustrates how irrational they have become,

Bingo. Been waiting for this comparison, analogy, you-name-it mirroring perception. Any accusations leveled against Dems have already been committed by MAGs — a treasure trove of immoral, criminal behavior awaiting savvy investigation … and prosecution.

But how do we safeguard elections? How can we ensure they are fair? They have reliably influenced elections for the last 10 years. How will this be any different?

Trump is creating a new category of legal definitions; political moral turpitude. Moral turpitude is defined as "a legal term for an act that is considered fundamentally immoral, depraved, or wicked, violating community standards of honesty and good morals. Crimes involving moral turpitude are those that show a base, vile, or depraved character, such as fraud, theft, or perjury".

Trump's continuous gaslighting, lies, abuses of power, lawlessness, character assassinations, and flagrant corruption are so vile and depraved, he stands alone in the history of our presidents in a unique and extreme distinction.

Yet, compiling a list of offenses with each one rising to high crimes and misdemeanors, not a whimper from the GOP House of impeachment concerns. What level of jurisprudence allows the MAGA6 SCOTUS justice the wisdom to entrust total immunity to this proven dirt bag, let alone any president.

We are infected with a scourge of amorality and greed, masquerading as wildly distorted rationalizations of grievances and righteousness.

People in TX will have a big opportunity to tell a story next year by reaching out to "soft MAGAs." Not every supporter of Trump will be happy with the steal-the-election-at-all-costs gerrymandering approach. They may not vote Blue. But try to get them to stay home and not vote Red. The job may be made easier as Trump does nothing to get grocery prices down.

Projection is the schoolyard "defense" of bullies: I'm rubber, you're glue, whatever you say bounces off of me and sticks to you.

It's as juvenile, disgusting, and irritating as Trump. But bullies have gotten away with it forever.

Well there's ONE BIG UNWINNABLE problem. The voting machines of one company (that I forgot the name) has been bought by one of the chief criminals in voter suppression/rigging. We as dems and inds are screwed. You can't beat a programmed code by hope.

This is a huge problem. We have to have knowledgeable people in every single polling place and as monitors at the locations where votes are counted. Lawsuits should be ready to be filed to impound those voting machines so they can be tested for tinkering.

The machines in my state have paper ballots that can be used for verification. Those need to be watched carefully to make sure no Rethug operative gets their hands on them. Any state that has machines that do not have back up is where we need to be aggressively vigilant.

Agree on the projection. "Do what you can..." Can you give us some ideas other than call/write/protest...none of this is working. As a Democratic strategist who has raised billions of dollars, can you give us some concrete plans and ways to work around the rigged upcoming elections? Can you give the congress critters a way to grow a spine and take back their power?

I think we all agree that these people are criminals and that all their bluster is projection. OK. What can we do? We need ideas and plans!
