I Will Not Let These Bastards Grind Me Down

A note of gratitude to this community.

Yesterday morning, the New York Times reported that Donald Trump’s Department of Justice is investigating my company. Since then my phone hasn’t stopped. So let me start with the only thing that matters right now: thank you — to every single one of you who reached out.

Here’s the whole sad arc, if you’re just catching up. It started with Laura Loomer inventing a baseless conspiracy theory about my business. It moved to the House Judiciary Committee opening an investigation in 2024. And now it’s Trump’s DOJ. It is ridiculous that our government is being run by right-wing conspiracy theorists. But here we are.

We’re going to be okay.

I mean that. When I’m feeling low — and I’ve felt low this week — I draw on the friendships I’ve built over the course of becoming a content creator, and on this community right here. I’m grateful for where this life has taken me, strange twists like a federal investigation included.

A lot of you have asked how you can help. More than a few of you have offered to start a GoFundMe. Please don’t. I don’t want anyone to do that. We are going to be okay financially — I’m confident of it. And we are going to be okay legally. I’m confident we’re in the right, and we are going to keep fighting back against a government that harasses private citizens over their political beliefs.

But here’s my real ask — the one I care about most.

Go find another independent creator out there who’s doing the work and needs it more than I do. Someone earlier in this process than I am — I’ve been at it well over a year now. Someone who could really use $8 a month, or $80 a year. Because I promise you: I am not the only person being harassed by this government over their politics right now. It’s happening in ways seen and unseen, and we won’t know the full scope of it until long after Donald Trump is gone and dead. So go find those people. Build up their base. Lift them up.

I will not let these bastards grind me down, and I’m asking you not to let them grind you down either. The midterms are coming. They are going to get exactly what’s coming to them — and we are going to drag every single thing they’ve done to people like you and I into the light.
