I agree with a message discipline

Yes, we need to figure out our messaging buckets and stick to them.

Be Bold! Manchin made the IRA happen, and deserves respect for that. Educated canvassers (like with L.A. LGBT strategy) can spread the word door-door about strategic voting and messaging.

Never been a Manchin fan, but I'd rather have him than not given the way the system is setup.

I like what I'm hearing from you two. Mallory McMorrow is a winner, and Whitmer is effective. Corruption and Citizens United is a winning combo.

Agreed—McMorrow especially I think is fantastic and hope she wins

The main issue is all the right wing media that's going without any checks. The Democrats are not going to win unless something is done to counteract all the damage and bullshit of the right wing propaganda which is poisoning the idiots who will believe the lies. We need to combat the propaganda and the idea that their bullshit idea of conservatism is better than liberalism, that is the biggest lie they are selling to the American people. The moment they invented the lie of Fox News and nobody gave an opposing view, we lost everything. When they Republicans got rid of the opposing opinion they started building a huge lie which has brought to the horrible reality we are in today.

you're the only one (Manchin himself included) who thought Manchin would have won. Manchin declined to run for reelection because his prospects of winning was poor.

Yes, but based on the fundamentals I actually think he would have won with Harris on the ballot instead of Biden.

The DNC itself has been a major obstacle to progress in my local party organization, while the Michigan Democratic Party has been little better. Funds are not spent in the most effective way, to support productive canvassing conversations, printing voter guides, etc. Instead, we get annoying media barrages and insulting messages to get in line. Mini-VAN is not a useful tool either.

What went wrong...?

and serious question (100% no offense and 20% shade....) were there enough black and Latinos leading advisory posts? (#1) from the moment we're born we can smell 💩 so we don't need a degree in political campaigns (#2) to know that there were some 60% --only-- of Latinos that voted for Kamala AND they are now in the FAFO phase... what am I missing?

Either your advice to Harris and Hillary was not followed or it was off-base. They both ran a poor campaign. Have you considered hara-kiri?

I remember a Colbert routine in 2016, a dozens rap about Hillary being such a poor campaigner that Trump was the only candidate she could beat.
