Well written. Lindi Li was exactly who came to mind when I saw her announce her book Independent yesterday. Just before Biden dropped out, KJP was on the podium as a democrat saying Biden was “sharp as ever.” Now she’s publishing a tell-all saying she’s giving us “a look inside a broken White House” called Independent. Sure wasn’t a renegade when she was in the inner circle, was she? Grift, defined.

Imagine, she was so torn by her moral dilemma, it took a book contract to allow her to express herself.

When I read this yesterday that Karine became an independent -- even though I too became an independent after the election after seeing the Democrats refused to fight and challenge a single swing state -- I became super annoyed that someone of her high profile had to make a big goddamn public deal about leaving the Democrats when she was such a big part of that Democratic party and its failing. I was never ever a fan of hers, ever. She bugged me and she wasn't right for the job and this makes me like her even less. And no I will not buy her shitty, disloyal book. Thank you for calling her out.

Of course, and I don't blame you for registering as an independent. It's something we've all thought about. I decide to stay and fight for a better party, but obviously doing it in the cyncial way Karine is doing is just gross.

Gross and opportunistic. If I were a high profile or public democrat, I would have made the switch quietly if I made it at all. But before that I would have been loud and public about challenging the swing state results, not waited to write a book.

It's hard to tell the difference between the people doing real work and the media loves to play these games. It's a huge part of the problem.

Me neither. I did buy Original Sin and read it to understand a bit more of what happened, but I'm not buying this garbage.

I always keep an eye out for these kinds of books in the bins at the dollar stores. You never know when you’ll need emergency toilet paper. Just sayin’…

Her book is titled "Independent: A Look Inside a Broken White House, Outside the Party Lines" and will be released by Amazon in hardcover on October 21, 2025. Do yourself and your wallet a favor. DO NOT BUY IT! Its trash. Much better books out there. I recommend "Original Sin" and "Fight". Both are currently available.

I am, again, disappointed! I have paid attention to Karine Jean-Pierre for years. I applauded her long before she was Press Secretary, since I found her working to protect Civil Rights. This is very upsetting!

I don’t understand how becoming an independent is going to accomplish anything for her. I can imagine that she was upset with how the Democratic Party tossed Pres Biden aside, and it probably stung her since she worked in that Administration as well, and yes, there are so many things the Dems can improve on. I am a loyal person, and that applies to my being a Democrat as well. I will never leave this Party and will try to be some help to it instead of giving up on it. Books like these are a dime a dozen, and it’s kind of sad to see people choose to write them. I would think we would need years , instead of a few months, to understand and reflect on this past election!

It'll likely get her bookings on outside shows where she can rail on the party.

Lot of money in it.
