Only one of the 6 women the NYT talked to gave any specifics of physical abuse. They also spoke to several women who said he was a good guy, describing him as fun and a caring person. And he openly admits that after returning from Iraq that he had PTSD & a drinking problem. The TImes was unable to corroborate any "toxic boyfriend" accusations yet uncritically published this story. It was a hit job that's not up to journalistic standards the NYT claims to honor.
