So, what MAGA and it's enablers really did not like about the speech was two things, that Mamdani spoke it, and that it was really great.
Being a Muslim from Africa would be bad enough, but the fact that he is also a (Democratic) Socialist and progressive and popular makes it so much worse, and being that Trump is still sensitive about being hated in his home town (for most of his life) does not help.
Trump works hard at making everything about himself, about trying to take credit for everything, putting his name on everything... And here Mamadani gave a great inspirational speech, not about himself, and that just makes Trump look small in comparison.
So, instead of either admitting it was a 'good speech' or even just ignoring it, they felt they had to try and tear it down, tearing down NYC, try to negate any positive feelings associated with anything not Trump related...
As you said, shows us so much about them. The stupid part is it just encourages more people to watch the speech.
And fell asleep! How could anyone miss any part of that exciting Basketball game? The sickest part was the owner Dolan & his 17 or 18 yo granddaughter closed their eyes so he wouldn’t look soo bad especially after they booed him when they put the camera on him during the Anthem. They claim he never sleeps at night bc he works hard🤣🤣🤣 when he doesn’t start the day until noon but usually naps at meetings with everybody there including news cameras.😳
Thanks Mike. I watched this and the festivities in NY. It was so great. I understand why NY loves him so much. If we had a man like this as governor of each state, we would see progress FOR the people. FOX etc. all seem to forget that NYC has hated trump going back to the 80's. I wish the team would not go to the WH. Especially considering what trump's regime has done to African Americans i.e. taking away so many of their rights.
