If we are really going to hold the regime accountable, we need to replace Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries, both corporate hacks

TRIPLE AMEN!!!! YES!!!!

AND, Justice for Epstein-Trump survivors. This needs to remain center-stage. Democracy will not gain a strong enough foothold until we root out male hatred and violence against women.

Jeffries, Schumer, and Martin need to be replaced. Dems read the room. Healthy competition without insults based on policy. No more AIPAC. No more corporate Dems. Don f this up. We won in spite of those 3.

Accountability is not revenge. It is justice and the American people want justice. Of the people, by the people, FOR the people and that means FOR ALL the people

do we trust the Democratic establishment to carry out that agenda you just outlined though? Jeffries, Schumer? And Is there the momentum to actually change who's in power in the party to root out all the corporatists?

I am skeptical and prepared to hold them accountable

Go Mike, stay tuned.

I'm hoping Alito and Thomas don't step down so tRump can't appoint younger judges.

Mike Nellis's avatar

Senate won't confirm them

Michelle Jacobson's avatar

Yeah....wecan stall like what was done with Garland

Karen Qualls's avatar

The Senate confirms judges, and they better not confirm anyone trump puts up unless they are true dems.

So well said, Mike. Joy, caution, hard work ahead.

Thank you, Mike for continuing the fight! You helped us all stay (as you and others said) nauseously optimistic in the weeks before the election. 💙

Voting blue didn't mean one truly believed the corruption, socioeconomic crimes and so on should be revealed, addressed and fixed. Enough Dems still have deep pockets, benefit from the lies and will continue to games that they/we think only Repubs do. There's plenty of division among us. Do not let them undo or lie about the hard work that's been done and must continue. This is when the sneaky stuff happens. We've seen it before.

The Democrats in name only will be the first ones talking about working with trump, finding common ground, or offering him a deal that as long as he steps down and goes away there will be no accountability, no investigations. Anything less than full exposure and punishment will shred this lovely magic carpet we are on today and we’ll be seen as just another corrupt party.

I sincerely hope the dems are not that naive. Trump was only working to enrich himself, his cronies, and his family. He and his ilk need to be held accountable for all their lawbreaking. They need to remember that Trump has been cuddling up to other countries’ dictators, especially Putin. A thorough investigation into that Putin/Trump relationship is in order.

WE ARE READY👍🏽

I don’t disagree that we need to hold the administration accountable for all the corruption, but the first priority MUST be legislation that betters the lives of people across the country. Without that, we’re toast in the next election cycle. We Americans have a short memory and not a lot of patience waiting for changes that will improve our lives. 😉

Congratulations, Mike and everyone in this community. A power change within the Dems House and Senate need to change, I agree. Let justice resume in America.

Perfectly said. I’m all for starting to cut budgets, put ice on warning, start digging hard into each and every corrupt politician. And get our sights on Ukraine!! We’ve deserted them. Fix it.

If we start sending out subpoenas and work hard on raising big corporations taxes, if we start hitting back hard, we won’t get much done but it’ll keep those maga loyalists on the defensive and scare those rattlesnakes into committing suicide. Yes we have a lot of work to do!!!

patti smith's avatar

Yes, YES, YES on supporting Ukraine!!

Richard Allan's avatar

Yes, and hard work lies ahead.

If you can afford it and have not done so, you should subscribe,. I did, because it was not hugely costly, and Mike's programs are worth it, but I'll be honest...I'm old and retired, and no longer have big expenses...except for taxes (!!!) in my life
