You are helping far more people than you will ever know. I’m a retired catholic priest and you represent your faith tradition with enormous success. Kindness, empathy, compassion, seeing oneself in the face of another, recognizing that but for the grace of god (goddess, creator, universe, insert word of choice here) it could ME, or my family member, or my child’s teacher, or my neighbour that is being targeted. Sow the seeds of kindness, hope, joy, compassion, unity and courage. Consider them blessed and nurture what comes of them. Sending as much positive energy from Canada because they can’t tariff that and no passport is required.

What happened to Kirk is the culmination of the division and hate started by Trump. Our country has always agreed to disagree when we had a reasonable conservative party. For some people, violence justifies violence. No surprise that it's worked its way into our political process and freedom of speech.
