Years ago, with the financial collapse of 2008 there was a movement, Occupy Wall Street, and back then I told people it should be called Occupy a Courtroom because Justice is and has been since its American inception, partitioned. Only a sick nation would allow this to have happened. And what were the consequences to Trump and his tyrants when the action was determined to be illegal - nothing again!
Why are Americans so sick and evil? I know other countries have these evil people as well. But it seems the United States is especially open to depravity right now. Were our founding fathers rotten? Building our democracy on the back of slavery? I am a grandmother and I fear for my grandchildren, both boy and girl growing up surrounded by the rot of powerful men, and yes just white men in general. I know and have known many good men in my 68 years, but the majority have no idea what fear feels like. Their entitlement separates them from the rest of the people. Until they understand, they will not fight for all of us to be free.

I know the reason. What I don’t know is how it lasted so long and how it can be abolished.
The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact (NPVIC). It has 207 electoral votes locked in, of the 270 needed.
I believe it would take an amendment to the Constitution to get rid of it—so frustrating.
States still get to run their elections. So if they join the NPVIC, it's possible. But is it likely?
