Im sure an interview with 20-year old Gianni Versace, Vidal Sasson, Mozart or Van Gogh might have seemed similarly vacuous. Often genius presents as intense single focus. It also is often accompanied by social awkwardness and mental torment. Genius people view everything differently than us regular folk. They process information in ways we cant imagine. Not every genius breaks through and gifts the world with their talent but many have. Some only leave their talent. Others leave their talent with us as well as humanitarian gifts.
Time will tell where this guy will land. While I have zero interest in his field, I am fascinated by his intense focus and ability to discuss it with tremendous knowledge.

It is disappointing to having young men having this much influence over other young men while only focusing on looks. He seems to have done a lot of research, but not able to help young men socially, ideologically, prioritizing goals, etc he really needs to share ways on how they can find those sources. I seriously could not help myself from laughing when he said Mike needed to do something about his eyebrows and eyelashes…. Obviously we all have a story to tell and fundamental choices to make about who we are as individuals, what we aspire to become and what we hope to achieve. How we define ourselves. What values we ascribe to. And maybe more importantly, what we DON’T want to become.
(In my decades of life “experiences”, which include endless struggles to navigate a chaotic childhood, combined with the chaos during the 1960’s - and regardless of my age - I somehow learned along the way that we always have choices and decisions to make that often begin by acknowledging and learning from our mistakes. And hopefully we vow to become better versions of ourselves in the process.)

I’d never heard of Clavicular before this post, and I was confused by this interview. So I had to search first before I could respond. And of course I only got the surface of who he is. Perhaps he’ll eventually realize that his external appearance is shallow, only “skin deep”. Or perhaps he won’t.
But let’s face it, we’re being bombarded by this widespread obsession with outward appearances, which often literally become personal mutilation, and this obsession is threatening to supersede the fundamental values that actually define who we are, not only as individuals, but as a society as a whole. Will this obsession eventually diminish us and lead to our collective demise?
I recall an image that is permanently anchored in my minds eye of trump making fun of a disabled journalist during a rally. Is that now who we are as a society, as a nation? I dare scream a resounding NO, in spite of the millions of people who laughed and gave him a pass on that.
