Hi, Joe Walsh! 29 years ago, you were my son, Sam's LIttle League coach in Evanston, Illinois. You moved away to run for Congress in what was then a more congenial district for your then Republican views. I certainly was no fan of yours during the intervening years. But, welcome to the party!

I will make one political comment to you on the subject of Israel/Palestine. LIke you I can't stand Netanyahu or Hamas. But I don't call myself pro-Israel, I know too much history. Netanyahu wants to make Hamas the issue, but in fact he covertly supported them, to weaken the Palestinian Authority on the West Bank. And there is no excuse for what Israel is doing in the West Bank, which has nothing to do with Hamas.

I am a proud liberal left of center Dem Zionist who hates the right wing Netanyahu government. Getting attacked from the right and left is now the reality, unfortunately.

To be a zionist means you support an apartheid state where Jews have all Democratic rights and Palestinians have none. You also must believe that Jews are a superior cultural group entitled to superior rights and privileges. If there was ever any basis or reason for a singular "Jewish State" which could be justified as an ongoing colonial endeavor, there no longer is any rational for such an entity. Israel's conduct over the last 75 years has more than demonstrated the evil that inevitably arises from apartheid states.

Yeah, like I said. Gfy.

The biggest lie of the century is that Israel is a colonial apartheid state oppressing indigenous Palestinians. In reality, Jews are indigenous to the land, Israel is a multi-ethnic democracy, and Palestinian leadership has repeatedly rejected peace offers while promoting violence. This narrative ignores history and fuels anti-Semitism.

The evidence is there yet no one on major tv talks about it: What about the 1992 party for underage girls who were trying for teenage America? And what about Katie Johnson who accused Trump of rape (Case 1:16-CV-007673-RA) and another girl who testified that Trump raped her?

I totally agree that we need to have this conversation. I tried to tell people that not voting because they didn't like the party stance totally got Trump elected and that his support of Netinau was so much more hard core

Gavin Newsom is a humanist at his core, and authentic! And very smart. He is not an elitist. Struggled all his life w dyslexia, to this day. Raised by a single divorced mother. Worked to help support his mom and siblings as a teen. Went to Jesuit schools. Very, very, smart, fearless. He fell into politics at the local level, advocating for workers. Entrepreneur first. Cares passionately and honestly about justice and human rights and our Constitution! Don’t categorize him as slick. He is not! Despite being good looking. And, he is a fighter, not a grandstander. He is ambitious for good and right things, not for himself! He is an amazing communicator.

I'm a 75 year old white woman, lifelong Democrat. I sincerely feel based on what happened in the last election, that their are too many people who will NOT vote for a woman - particularly one of any color, or vote for an American Veteran, who is not mainstream, i.e., not married to a member of the opposite sex. Being a woman, or being in a same-sex relationship/marriage just limits the range of people who will vote for the candidate. Period. We need to go clean-cut, all-American, John Kennedy-type man. Wish that wasn't so, but it is.

There is no worse terror taking place by anyone at any place than Israel’s slaughter of Palestinians. They are all complicit just as we are complicit in allowing our government pay the bill for this holocaust.
