Since DT’s cruelty and lack of compassion won’t ever be acknowledged by his enablers, I think we should hang his actions on them as if they were the perpetrators. Every time they’re introduced, “This is the (Senate, House, Cabinet) member who enabled (by voting for, staying silent, etc.) DT’s worst instincts when he/she …”

If literally no one in the US is willing to stop trump, then democracy is FINISHED. We should recognize that it sadly is already finished in the US, with many more countries to follow, the first probably being Ukraine.

This is the Empire vs. the Republic and Trump is bending us toward the Empire.

As an American, I feel so awful at the horrible treatment of our Western, democratic, rules-based, allies. Trump routinely treats our adversaries better than our friends. I figured Alaska was nothing more than an attempted distraction from Trump's multiple inclusions in the Epstein files. It turned out to be far worse. Once again, Trump granted Putin's every wish. Once again, Russia is the big winner while everyone else, including, most especially, the United States is left holding an empty bag. Why the right is perfectly fine with this obvious Kompromat is still a complete mystery to me. Our collective shame for the treatment of the Ukrainians (and the Palestinians) will be ours to bear for rest of our lives. Much like the German people who - to this day - still must deal with their collective War Guilt, even thought few were alive at the time. My mother was born in 1944, in Frankfurt, Germany, at the height of the war. Unfortunately, her birth certificate has a swastika on it. Unbelievable as it seems, it is likely she will die in a fascist country (the U.S.), just as she was born to one. In some respects, it seems, we've gone nowhere in eighty plus years.

There will be a security agreement for Ukraine to be part of. Perhaps the Nordic countries security arrangement can be opened up or even a completely new European security created to replace NATO. Under Trump NATO has no future. Worst of all, Europe no longer trusts the US to honor its obligations under NATO, regardless of who is president.

At this point in time… I believe no leader of any country in its right mind trusts the USA. The 0ranG cr3T1n is the epitome of a liar and a traitor to any good cause. We/h3, might think a country is agreeable to a bunch of h1s l13s, the truth is that F3AR might make someone agree. But that is C03Rc10n… not FR3e W1LL!

It appears that Putin was at this meeting today. He told Trump this is what is going to happen you say this and support me or else (maybe release Epstein files). Friday was an embarrassment for this country for treating a war criminal like he was a rock star with that greeting. Today was a disgrace with how the leaders of democratic countries were treated. Why are we allowing this? Step up people stop allowing this insanity to be accepted as the norm.

Sadly it seems the corporate media in the USA and Western countries report very little of the truth about G3n0c1d3 and forc3d staRvat10n of hundreds of thousands in GazA and PaL3st1N3. Even the writing or speaking the atrocities being committed by the 1sRA3£I ArM3d F0rc3s, is seen as blatant propaganda instead of Truth. Many thousands get hurt and arrested throughout the world demonstrating for the freedom of PAL3St1N3, yet still this horrific fact remains shrouded in darkness… that a Genocide is happening before out very eyes! That photos and videos of Doctors from Britain, France, the USA and several countries are returning from Volunteering in GAZA and reporting how babies, children and adults are being force Starved and slaughtered by 1sRa3£ and the world stays silent!!!

I am no Trump fan, but I have to applaud his effort to end the war. The USA had long promised Russia that NATO would not move East, and the USA consistently broke its promise, encroaching step by step over the years. Ukraine was an understandable red line for Russia, just as Russia putting missiles in Cuba was for the USA. Russia is winning the war, 2/3 of the Ukranians want to end the war, but US politicians still want to fight to the last Ukranian.

Russia expected the war to be over in a couple of weeks. It’s been what, three years?

Ukraine was a red line for Russia? Are you aware that Ukraine used to be called “little Russia?” it seems to me that Putin wants to restore the Russian empire with himself as mini czar. They want it back, and it’s their first step

Are you aware of how upset the oligarchs—check out kiril’s rolex— of the Russian Orthodox Church are with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church? I don’t know why people leave out the malign influence of religion here.

I see one previous comment of yours. In it you said that Biden was heading towards war with China, and that Biden was nuts. Somehow, I suspect that you’re not exactly on the side of the United States, democracy, or peace or freedom.

Perhaps you can tell me about the weather in Moscow.

Mike, I have to respectfully disagree with you on this topic. There's an excellent case to be made that the NATO issue was a major cause of the Ukraine invasion. Jeffrey Sachs makes the argument far better than I can: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RNE3X41IvM Putin's an evil bastard and in no way do I think he should have invaded Ukraine, but he is not crazy to think that a Ukraine in NATO poses a threat to Russia.
