There will be a security agreement for Ukraine to be part of. Perhaps the Nordic countries security arrangement can be opened up or even a completely new European security created to replace NATO. I am no Trump fan, but I have to applaud his effort to end the war. The USA had long promised Russia that NATO would not move East, and the USA consistently broke its promise, encroaching step by step over the years. Ukraine was an understandable red line for Russia, just as Russia putting missiles in Cuba was for the USA. Russia is winning the war, 2/3 of the Ukranians want to end the war, but US politicians still want to fight to the last Ukranian.
