Great idea.......but, we do NOT want $5,000 we Want ALL of Trump's MONEY that he and his family and his Regime and his Enablers and his Oligarchs have stolen from us!!! Every Penny (with Interest)!!! And we want to elect people who will go after these Thieves and get it ALL back with Interest......and prosecutions......and jail.........

At this point...I'd be happy to just see him go away quietly and MAGA die. Sadly, history has given us that you can kill a whole army but you can't kill an idea. That's why this country is still racist for the most part and greedy. After all, we learned it from our forefathers.

As the cable station briefly allowed him to interrupt my peace from his lies I just turned to another station until this predicted saga continued to the next station. Tonight I’ll go to Substack.

Imagine what you'd have to do for it. Still want it? Bwahahahaha- no you don't!

My thoughts exactly. “I’ll take the cash and even print your fan mail, but only if I don't ever have to be in the same room with you.”

I was thinking the same thing…🤮

270 million adults times $5000 =

one trillion three hundred fifty billion.

Really? What a ridiculous thing to say🤔

Tim Matchette's avatar

Ridiculous people say ridiculous things.

This should be in a fortune cookie.

We pay that and more on the interest of the National Debt b/c of republicans and trump and his regime inparticular.

Pat Robinson's avatar

And the entire GOP seems to be standing behind it.....

Irene Finn's avatar

$5000 wouldn't make me vote republican. Trump's a deadbeat anyway, like the Doge checks or tariff checks, he's like a bad slot machine. Never pays, only takes.

Steve's avatar

I like the slot machine line. Let's spread it around.

Everyone remember the definition of stupid is doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different outcome! Fits this scenario, right? As the movie character once said, "Stupid is as stupid does!" Stay loud and strong, Mike.

Poor old Trump.

He IS getting kinda old and looks like a mess.

Even what passes for his ‘hair’. And what color is it today? 😊

Another GREAT article! Thank you!!

100% Mike, it's nothing but a bribe and nobody will never see the money.

BS on every level: federal, state, local. This cruel Republican virus is affecting everything: the environment (try visiting a national wildlife refuge under attack by developers, hunters, chemical companies), public education (increasingly defunded and anti-education rule-bound), grocery stores with pathogen, gmo, pesticide-laden offerings, gas stations, barely funded public transit. We refuse to succumb to cognitive exhaustion, but need to muster the energy to keep fighting. What will it take for farmers to see they're being duped? Or, do the compensation payments, which most Americans outside of the wealthy don't receive, put them in a "special" position? Whatever puerile image comes to mind is likely accurate. That Republican "mid-election" thing was little more than a cult meeting. Truly bat-sh*t. Please drink water, pat a dog, listen to those birds and insects that haven't yet been poisoned, and do what needs to be done.

He's destroying our economy already, and now there's something new? How long can this crap go on?

Calling the fat felon stupid, is an insult to stupid people. And if in the lame state of texas, he could not fill the venue, the GOP is in real trouble.

Love your message! Your time management skills are superior - family time and some light moments are a balm for the soul and give us strength.

I read this morning that Trump's grandiose, bragging bribe would add $1.2T to the national debt. I also read that Trump's Iran imbroglio could last after his term ends. He added debt during his first term too. He has started a war against Americans' wallets that will extend well into the future.

There's not enough money in the world to make me vote for this clown. But, that being said, we all know he's full of shit and wont pay. But his cult will fall for it and no one else. But let this be a lesson: Dems don't get complacent and say "no one will vote for him." Yes, they most certainly willI. I have a question, though: Isn't this illegal? And if so, why aren't the Dems jumping on it? We have some like "old man Suozzi" (who needs to be gone_ who talks about "the adult in the room." I do have some frustratons with the Dems; we keep hearing about Fetterman--and yes, he needs to be gone--but are they actively looking? Are they doing anything about their poor veting provess--I'm still annoyed that we got stuck with someone like Platner.

Steve's avatar

A couple of progressives recruited Platner.

I read something interesting this morning about the subject. Lawyers and politicians in New Mexico say not so much the bribe part that's daunting...it's the campaign promise that could snag him. Apparently there, they have very robust laws about voting and campaign promises not kept. He can get in trouble for bribery if he actually pays out, in this state, which we know he'll never do because it'd be billions to trillions and he just got it so not letting go. I guess a loophole allows lawmakers in NM to actually charge and prosecute for campaign promises that aren't fulfilled because of lies, deceitful actions, etc. Different laws for different states. Also, will they actually enforce any laws against this administration??? Time will tell. If I got any of this wrong, please clarify because I admittedly read it before I had my coffee this morning. Educated Rednecks Want to Know.

Haven't you heard? New Mexico isn't a state anymore ;)
