Thank you, Mike and Congressman Landsman. Since I'm in Southern California things happen on the East coast before I'm ready to hear about them. I usually get up at 7:00 and make coffee before I turn on my laptop, and I try not to turn on the radio so I can enjoy a few minutes of peace.
With taking away the designation of "professional" in identifying nurses, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, etc. Potential/future health care professionals will not be able to get school loans, health care degrees will become too expensive and salaries will decline at a time when we DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH health care workers. Very complex health issues, long hours, difficult patients staffing shortages and evolving technology require higher levels of education and continuing education. Good care requires very good training. Another BIG MISTAKE by the current Executive Branch.
This is a fascist regime that wants chaos and cruelty. ICE doesn't abide by rules that the rest of law enforcement is expected to follow. You are talking as though this is a normal administration that will be accountable for its corruption. It isn't. The guardrails have been dismantled, so accountability in regard to this regime seems highly unlikely.
The idea that a country should be in the conditions the USA has ALWAYS BEEN and IS TODAY is absolutely insane… there is not one thing ranging from defence and war, national and state governments, local governments, commerce, education, health and all services… it has all been shabby and opportunistic geared toward keeping people quiet and disinterested…. Corruption is now rampant with Trump and we are unable to do a thing to stop it.

Assuming the Senate follows? Ahem, have you forgotten about the veto? There is no conceivable way the Senate will come up with 67 votes to override a veto. And the same goes for the House.
