The mainstream media are failing big time by not covering Trump's decline like they did to Biden over and over. I’m older than you so perhaps I have a longer memory, but didn’t Hillary initially propose this, to be severely and vehemently pushed back by republicans. Didn’t Obama have to curtail his ambitions for this same reason, and also the fact many said they didn’t want to lose their insurance coverage vs government provided health care.
I’m all for most of what you say and propose, and find your coverage both very intelligent and worthwhile, but I wish someone would mention those who are homeless, not just those who want to purchase a home. I’ve recently seen two elderly women parked in a giant parking lot so they can stay in one place, while they’re living out of their car. And of the elderly man in a wheelchair, also homeless. What I fear is that after democrats win, these middle class people wanting their money to go further will forget, as always happens, those suffering on the very bottom. And if you look around, this suffering is a national catastrophe, comparable to world wide tragedies.
The easiest expansion towards national healthcare coverage that could be quickly accomplished with the least political opposition would be to extend Medicare coverage to the age of 59.5–the same year people can begin to withdraw without penalty from their 401K and IRA accounts. The number is already out there and familiar to voters and politicians.
I’d love to see Repubs squirm when asked why people shouldn’t have medical coverage at the same time retirement funds become available to them! And even the barely Dems like Fetterman and his ilk would have a hard time explaining away the rationale for this expansion. We can spend $400-$800 Billion on an unneeded ballroom, an unjustified war in Iran, and a massive ‘homeland’ security apparatus of brownshirts, but we can’t spend far less for basic healthcare coverage?
Oh, right, I forgot, Trump doesn’t know how to make money off of that, unlike with the private prison companies, arms dealers, mercenary cartels, and probably mob construction interests being generously served billions in no-bid contracts right now. Companies who have APPEARED OVERNIGHT, with no discernible history or projects to their names, yet are granted billion-dollar contracts. Happening right out in the open.
I think democrats, if they gain enough seats, should wholeheartedly push for Medicare for all. Many seemed opposed to it in the past, but I think that’s not the case now, at least according to surveys I’ve seen.

Democrats, Republicans, and Independents attended.
I was given Hope by witnessing how almost everyone agreed on Issues like Overturning Citizens United, Ending Gerrymandering,
How Congress was doing nothing for the American People, Expanding Medicare, and against this War of Choice in Iran.
Divide, and Conquer, is losing it power here!
