I’m exhausted watching this country repeat the same mistakes over and over again, fighting for basic human and civil rights year after year, regardless of who’s in power.
I used to lead sessions on citizen lobbying, and the most important lesson I tried to get across is that these people work for you. If you don’t bow and scrape for some random person on the street, then don’t do it in the so-called halls of power. Folks would nod enthusiastically and then the minute a Congresscritter would enter the room, you’d have thought it was some minor deity granting them an audience.
Kill Citizens United and vote out some of the “good” ones who preach caution to get everyone’s attention. Establish an age limit for elected office. Expand the Court. The next 4 years need to have some serious radical change.
Trump and friends want Iran's resources, any influence they might get in the Middle East, and to distract from Trump & friends awful ratings...monied friends of the Epstein economy that 90% of media supported. They don't care how many people are killed and suffer in Iran or the USA. They don't care. Stop asking for money from people who can barely afford food. Working people can't financially support alternative press even though it's drastically needed. It seems to me at the heart of why the Trump administration's sliding explanations for this Iran action and the multiplying directions in which it is exploding, is Trump's intention to clear the Middle East of uncertainty that would hamper his money-making intent in Gaza and with his various Arab relationships. He has no clear ideology other than self. He is the poster child for Narcissistic Personality Disorder in addition to other psychoses which in no way am I qualified to identify, but what we see is an extremely underdeveloped person leading sycophants who merely act as an enabling force.
