Asheville, NC. All of this is spot on. I spoke with people who voted for Trump the first time because I was so shocked he got elected. It's an education. These people, unbeknownst to me, we're religious righters. They were afraid for their jobs, their children, and the safety of the nation. They were pro-life, pro-border wall, and anti- immigration. And you know what, Trump delivered on all that in his first term (didn't complete the wall, but made pretty good headway). What other politician before him has ever done even a modicum of the items they've run on and promised the American people? Nobody. I can only assume that this is why he won his 2nd term. So, time to go talk to those who voted for him this time. Most people who voted for him here are rural, uneducated farmers. Clearly, they are now suffering, but we need to find out why they voted for him. Do they think he is a straight shooter because of his directness? Do they disdain the educated because they think those folks disguise the truth in nice language? Do they fear what they do not know? Has the government screwed them in the past? I'm surrounded by these people. They are my neighbors. They are hardworking, well intentioned people. We have an obligation to try to, as Mike says, bring them back and be empathetic for their reasoning while logically, and unemotionally and as uncondemingly as we can, make every effort to change their vote. Hugely admire Carlos for being on the front lines & in the streets. Getting on his site to see if there's anything I can do to assist him and his organization because they truly are fighting the good fight and I feel like a coward sitting in my home listening to the 2 of you. There's more that I can do.
Appeasement did not work for Napoleon. It will not work with Putin. This? Right here? Is what Europe and NATO was terrified of. We are losing ALL of our allies.

In the signature, is the D in Donald supposed to resemble the Trump Bldg in NYC?
Warmongers everywhere. Both sides of the aisle.
