Heartbroken and livid about bogus crime rates in DC, sacrilege to White House and Rose Garden, and censorship at Smithsonian and Kennedy Center. Not to mention our fragile democracy!

Imo, the BIG problem with politics is getting the money out of it (and rescinding Citizens United). As a democrat, I have to say that I think the problem with the democratic party are the reps who are corporate dems and have corporate backing. These are the dems who are not fighters for us, but very weak. I place Chuck Schumer in this category. We need more reps like AOC, Mamdani, Jasmine Crockett, Bernie Sanders, etc.

I was raised in a moderate Republican household. I became a Democrat in college. From my 20s-40s I would often split my ticket. In local elections I voted for the people who listened to the needs of the people. In the past 20 years I have voted straight party, even if I wasn't a fan of the person running, because the divide was becoming too big. There is no consensus building anymore. However, the Dems have lost touch with the people.

I left the republican party in 2008 was becoming disenfranchised in early 2000's. But I can't join the democratic party, they seem fractured and can't come together as a legitimate party with a platform that truly represents the masses. There is no party for me! The republican party is so corrupt with no real message for the society as a whole. I used to think that the constitution was a hard stop to corrupt politicians judge's and wealthy individuals but it's not.

Who was the judge who signed the search warrant for the raid. If there was NO warrant, then it's an illegal raid. And what about those documents found in the Mar-a-Lago bathroom? Shouldn't Trump himself be raided next?

How is it that ANY politicians continue to go along with him. Isn’t the MAGA base dwindling?

Can’t we all change our voter registration? Would it help with the gerrymandering or? What if the political strategy focus would be on being heard by changing your voting registration and also checking out what the republicans are doing to stop people from voting.

Welcome, Geoff Duncan to the democratic party! I think it took a lot of courage for you to stand by your morals and ethic code in this environment.
