Seattle. Krasnov is busy working the 2025 plan has it that they want CEO's (billionaires) replacing elected mayors for blue cities to be able to lock down and suppress votes and steal the electron. Does that not remind us of the Governor replacing city mayor with CEO's to make all decisions like water that happened in Minnesota.

I am so disgusted with the do nothing demos. I understand that our economy, based on making a profit, has been taken over by the oligarchs and huge corporations in which they have taken over our government. Our government leaders—local, county, state and federal—didn’t resist the money and thus lead for them, forget about the rest of us, the 99%. At any rate I am not going to vote for any Democrat. I think they don’t deserve my vote. I was a life long Democrat as my parents were. I’m 84, an activist starting demonstrating against the Viet Nam war. I have followed the Cuba situation since the 1970s, am interested in what China is about, sad and wish the Ukraine Russia war has not stopped, and horrified, enraged and getting depressed about the demise of the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. It’s gone. The Israeli Zionists and USA with help from Europe and do nothing Arab countries have guaranteed Palestine is obliterated.

I’m listening to you in hopes the Democratic party will be taken back away from all those old entrenched, useless “fogies” like Schumer and the “young” one like Cory Booker.

The “No King” demonstrations across the country are good, but Trump is not our only problem. We need to change the decisions about how workers get paid, including share of profits, i.e., raises. How about co-op companies, we the workers and the company as a whole take the risks. We do the work, we know how the businesses and corporations are run, why not we make the decisions about running it, too?

I hope we can take over the Dems to take control of our economy and pass laws that we will no longer have to deal with the profit motive. Yes, I am talking about capitalism. The first order of business is to educate everyone, deal with the climate crises, hunger and the unhoused, health care for all, NO more regime change and close all military installations around the world.

I would advise everyone in America regardless of political affiliation to research the ideology of Islam and the dangers of allowing them to continue their mission in America 🇺🇸.

What exactly would those be? Because you are dangerously close to insinuating that Sharia Law will take hold here in the US and that's just not the case literally anywhere in our country. Further, Islam is no more a danger than Christianity, which has killed millions more than Islam has.

done that..... - and your point is islamophobia? all religions are dangerous when used by politicians. maybe you need to research christianity, buddhism and all others and how they have all been used to go to war for the sake of the wealthy.... read 'a world lit only by fire' by william manchester...the power of religion in the middle (aka dark) ages through to the renaissance. there are also lots of references to war and fighting other faiths in all 'holy' books.....without knowledge of all this, people easily sink into narrow minded ideas of who/what is right or wrong. 8 billion people in the world - we'd better understand them in order to coexist and try and prevent hatred and wars.

i am with you...the frustration is palpable. if the damned politicians would just attend and participate in the rallies and marches, read people's signs, hear people's chants, they will find out the politician approach is stupid and ineffective. i won't say to much here as i have a separate post on this matter in this discussion group. keep up the good fight...and one day we'll be able to return to civilized and normal discussions.... Resist. Viva La Resistencia. Vive La Resistance. Samud....

So is yours moron. The founder's had laws in place to prevent this very thing. Democrats changed that.

I loved Mussab’s comment about making it fun. Have your seen Mamdani’s response to the bench-pressing thing? Cuomo, of course, tried to turn it into a political statement “He can’t even bench press his own weight, let alone a city.” (or something like that, I paraphrase.) There’s photo of Mamdani with a bunch of people laughing about it and having fun.. We need more of this kind of thing in the Democratic party—why, or why—can’t our “leaders” take note?

PNW. i think i'm gonna give up on believing democratic vs republican vs all and sundry politicians. repugnicans got their populist leader that brought all the white supremists to the voting booth and the rest are along just for the power and money-greed ride. there is zero reason to believe they will ever feel guilty and ashamed about what they are enabling trump to do.

democrats have no such leader, and generally people expect democrats to be intelligent, state the facts, back up the facts, and play nice so that all people can cohabit in a caring and compassionate system of laws....and the god-awful liberal catch-all phrase 'love will conquer hate' (all wars are an ongoing reminder that this is a stupid guilt-free way of doing nothing). And none of that is realistic based on the uneducated, racist and greedy trump base.

all dems call it authoritarianism when it should be called DICTATORSHIP.

bipartisan is a stupid word for spineless dems who don't know the world has changed and repugnicans are also spineless in the face of the dictator.

the repugnicans are the 'putin style rubber stamp congress'

and as dictator trump and the rubber stamp congress do....

REPEAT, REPEAT, REPEAT, REPEAT

the old farts (anyone over 70) should be mentoring (free of charge) all new younger replacements.... i am 70 and my views are not the same as young people so i defer to them...(and grumble at the same time :)....)

short-to-the-point messaging is what young people, and the rest of the population groups, are used to. they don't want to READ too many words.

YOU WANT MEDICAID BACK - VOTE DEMOCRAT

you want expensive or zero health insurance - vote republican

you believe in our great american constitution and democracy - vote democrat

you believe in a dictatorship and military rule - vote republican.

you want less pollution and better health and food safety - vote democrat

you want more extreme and deadly climate change - vote republican

you want an inclusive society of all hard working ethnicities and cultures - vote democrat

you want a white supremist dictatorship - vote republican

you want your children to be healthy and safe - vote democrat for ALL children

you want only large corporations and billionaires to be healthy and safe - vote republican

etc etc etc

stop trying to back it up with facts. people these days just do emotion and the basic facts of their miserable lives.

and finally, i have suggested to many democrat politicians over the years...

END THE NEVER ENDING FUNDING THE GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWNS... by having all HUMAN tax payers 'vote' how much of the government spending should be apportioned to each major cabinet group. more people submit tax returns than people who vote, so if the government is funded within 10% of the average people's preference, there is no need to shut down. All that the political candidates have to do is say how they would allocate the people’s budget within the major cabinet departments. Then politicians are accountable for what they do and how the people ‘voted’ with their tax dollars. It can also be a basis for regional/state/county funding and funds allocation.

i've explained this before so i won't go into it in detail. IT APPEARS THE POLITICIANS DON'T LIKE THE IDEA BECAUSE IT TAKES AWAY THE POLITICIANS POWER AND WHAT HE/SHE/THEY WANT. Welllll…..f**k the self serving politician is what I say.

the cable-tv approach of selling people on a bundle of channels (most of which you don't want) is not the way of the future of politics (the democrat 'bundle' is as unacceptable as the repug 'bundle'). DO SOMETHING RADICAL TO MAKE OUR FUTURE DEMOCRACY ABOUT THE PEOPLE AND NOT ABOUT THE DICTATOR, THE OLIGARCHS, AND THE SPINELESS MEMBERS OF CONGRESS.
