The powerful people that are used to getting their way and breaking the law at whim are demanding that those in the GOP- elected or not- keep covering this up, just as they demand them to re-write the tax code for them, or issue government subsidies for them. It's just another thing on their shopping list.
It's completely clear that nutjobs on the right had a view of a global pedophile network being exclusively on the left. Now that it's clear that's not the case, THEY have lost interest in it, and it's totally obvious why.
IMHO, the nutjobs on the right wanted to be able to attack, jail, and possibly kill people on the left- just for being on the left. In their minds, being on the left was the great crime that was punishable. However, as crazy and stupid as they are, they are still sane enough to know that isn't enough for everyone else.
The notion of a global pedophile ring that was EXCLUSIVELY on the left was the Holy grail for this. They would expose it, they (the nuts on the right) would be seen as heroes, and it would and could justify doing everything that they wanted to do to people on the left.
The actual reality of what we see with Epstein is just another example of when confronted with the actual reality, as opposed to the fantasy they've chosen to believe, these nimrods choose to stick with the fantasy and deny the reality.
