To all my fellow New Jersians! VOTE BLUE MICKIE SHERRILL!💙💙💙💙💙

Erik S's avatar

How is this even legal?

Kaye Houser's avatar

It’s not legal. Mickie Sherrill needs to sue her opponent and/or use this deception as an ad campaign. Giving out that info is dangerous enough but info on a woman could be handed to a predator (which of course would include this action too)

Well, we all know that Trump, among other things (draft dodger; adulterer; etc.), is definitely not trustworthy with any kind of information of a personal nature.

If this happened to the right wing candidate, the right media ecosystem would rip a hole in the space time continuum. But Dems do NOT have media savvy nor warriors to yell about this. Looking at you mute Schumer.

I have to ALERT everyone of an email that I just received just now! This is what it says. >>>:()

PLEASE share this information everywhere!! Man, I am SO pissed off today.

"In the "free state of Florida," Ron DeSantis and his handpicked Attorney General James Uthmeier are attempting to intimidate and punish Floridians for exercising their freedom of speech.

They’ve created an online portal where Floridians can report their neighbors to the state for what they say online. And they're making it clear: if you dissent, they'll come after you.

This is exactly the kind of government retaliation we're seeing from the Trump administration nationwide. It's a coordinated effort to silence their "opponents" at the expense of your First Amendment rights."

No one is jumping in to save us. Far from it! WE the PEOPLE have 1 choice resist or die . We must hang together as they say, or hang separately. Point being wake up, speak out, stand up. NOW

Good documentation for states fighting the doj’s demand to hand over complete voter rolls.

Joan Wiersma's avatar

I got an email the other day that said they were demanding all the names on the voter rolls and if I can recall correctly, I think it said from 27 states!

Paula's avatar

My understanding is that they are demanding all the information associated with each person on the voter rolls, i.e. personal information. States run elections. Feds have no legitimate need for the info.

Joan Wiersma's avatar

Yes! That's why I was so angry when I read that. I was like, WTF??!!!! They have no right to do that! It's like Musk and his Doge BS! They got EVERY bit of PERSONAL info on ALL of us! EVERYTHING!! Now he just admitted it never saved any money!!!! I WISH we could SUE that SOB for that! But WE don't have enough $$$$$$$!!!

Paula's avatar

I imagine all that info is being swept up into a huge database compiled by Thiel’s Palantir to complete the surveillance state. Now, that is the Deep State.

DB's avatar

They are suing several states now, I think 6 for refusing.

J Barbeau's avatar

WELL GOD ONLY KNOWS WHO HAS WHO’S PERSONAL INFORMATION AS SOCIAL SECURITY GAVE OUT TONS OF SOCIAL SECURITY INFORMATION!!

Kaye Houser's avatar

It’s worse than you think. Trump gave over all the info stolen and “compiled” on each one of us to Peter Thiel, and his company (Palantier(sp?) an electronics company. Thiel is from South Africa and a longtime friend of Musk. He is also very close to JD Vance, who refers to him as his mentor. Trump is assembling this info with the intent to have a list of every single American (to prevent voter fraud??) and is to include every piece of info on each one of us that the company can find through any electronic means.

Joan Wiersma's avatar

THAT pisses me off more than anything they've done! I LIKE my PRIVACY!! >>>:()

WA state has rejected that request so far. Very disturbing.

Wondering if this is really why they want Palantir to have a database on every one of us. To blackmail or extort us if we get "out of line" or resist their total takeover of our country. Give away our SS#, take away our money, deport us to some far away country, imprison us, etc., etc.

I guess the "lucky" thing for me is that a breach from National Public Data (NPD) from Aug 2024 already exposed my SS# to the dark web, so I don't have to worry about that one. Until someone tries to use my credit or name or something else, no new SS#, which would be a bitch to change on everything anyway. My credit is locked and I have fraud alerts on it all.

Kathleen Lohr's avatar

Hardly surprising that Trump's administration/government would do this. Wonder how much the Trumpers paid to somebody to have this happen!

chev_chelios's avatar

My head is ready to fucking explode....tRump and his fascist scum government regime needs to be stopped now...any way possible !

DesertStormVetNMCB24/74's avatar

Sounds to me like. She's got a very "lucrative" lawsuit to file.

Joan Wiersma's avatar

I agree. Hope that happens!

Who remembers the Bush I administration rifling through Bill Clinton’s passport file during the 1992 campaign? The “Independent Counsel” hired to investigate this crime - the execrable Joe DiGenova - swept it under the rug. The criminality of the Republicans is not new. It’s decades old like a rotting carcas

When is she going to sue?

Also damage is done by casting doubt on her reasons for skipping commencement. Right wing noise machine is relentless. “Lie about anything enough and suddenly it’s true.” Nazi style…

You are absolutely 100% right. I've been frustrated with conversation stuck in disbelief, or head spinning outrage at corruption that feels like a bathtub faucet left on. We're not shocked that Darth Vader's Empire plunders planets and executes opposition. We accept that they're evil and know no bounds before we buy our popcorn. We know that the heros face insurmountable odds, but hope that evil will consume itself and good will prevail. We can't be parayzed in disbelief. We have to move forward the same way now, ready to fight and believing we'll win, in this version of America.
