Trump Is NOT Ready for Tomorrow’s Midterms — with Mike Nellis & Adam Mockler

Mike Nellis LIVE — Weekdays at 2pm ET

Endless urgency is free to read and will always stay that way. We’re one day away from an election that could fundamentally change the balance of power in Washington. But winning isn’t enough. We need a Democratic Party that’s ready to fight corruption, take on billionaires, and actually deliver for working people. That’s what this moment demands, and it’s why independent voices matter more than ever. Hey folks,

We’re one day away from a massive election, and I just sat down with Adam Mockler to talk about what could be a defining moment for the Democratic Party and the future of this country.

And look, I’m excited. Really excited. But I’m also thinking about what comes next.

Because beating MAGA isn’t enough. We have to build something better. A new generation of leaders. A government that actually works for working people. And a Democratic Party that’s finally willing to take on corruption, corporate power, and the broken systems that got us here.

Adam and I get into all of it. And we don’t hold back.

Here’s what we covered:

  • [00:01:10] A new generation is stepping up. Why leaders like AOC, Jon Ossoff, James Talarico, and Josh Turek represent something bigger than just younger faces in Washington.

  • [00:04:30] The stakes go way beyond this election. From AI threatening jobs and privacy to the urgent need to pass the torch, I explain why Democrats can’t afford to waste this moment.

  • [00:08:45] Corruption is the defining issue. I lay out my vision for a Democratic Party built around fighting corruption, fixing the economy, protecting our safety, and defending our fundamental rights.

  • [00:12:50] What Democrats should actually do with power. Adam and I debate aggressive, single-issue legislation to ban congressional stock trading, end gerrymandering, eliminate junk fees, and make healthcare more affordable.

  • [00:16:45] Why independent media matters more than ever. We get personal about the people who make this work possible and why building a media ecosystem that isn’t controlled by billionaires is essential to winning the fights ahead.

Here’s what I keep coming back to: We cannot just go back to normal.

Normal wasn’t working for millions of Americans. Normal gave us a political system where billionaires have more influence than working families, where healthcare is a constant source of anxiety, and where politicians spend more time protecting their careers than improving people’s lives.

We have an opportunity to change that. But it requires courage. It requires new leadership. And it requires a willingness to fight for people even when the political establishment tells us to play it safe.

This conversation with Adam is about what that fight looks like, why I’m hopeful, and why the work is just beginning.

If you believe in a Democratic Party that actually delivers for people, and independent media that’s willing to challenge power instead of protecting it, help me keep these conversations going.
